Our Home

Above is our home as viewed from the little garden centre that we use.
The hills in the background are the Theban hills which are home to the tombs of the nobles,
the valleys of the Kings and Queens as well as the temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

Below is the view from our roof of the river Nile. It is at its very lowest this time of year. It starts to rise in January and by the middle of the year it will have risen by several metres. Easily covering all the low lying grass you can see in this picture.

Below is our roof where it is lovely to sit and enjoy a drink whilst taking in the view.
