AWOL ~ March 2012 ~ Donkey Newsletter ~ Page 1 of 6

As AWOL supporters will know we are trying to rid donkeys of head collars that have chain on them, especially over the nose. The open wounds that occur are not only painful but can be life threatening especially if something as common as tetanus gets in through the open wound.

With the high influx of donkeys coming into the AWOL area for the sugar cane harvest, we have really struggled to keep up with the production of AWOL head collars.

These chain covers that are held together with velcro are excellent as they offer immediate relief from the chain.

Being different colours they also help owners identify their donkey.

If you think that you could make some of these covers do contact us for full information.
