It is quite another story when you check his ears. If left the puppy would suffer from anaemia which could, in extreme cases, lead to death.

This puppy also initially looks well cared for.

But again it is ticks in the ears that are the problem and in the heat of summer they multiply so quickly.

Both puppies are now tick free and though we give care guidance we do not recommend that children poke around in their puppies or dogs ears but that they check them frequently and bring them to us for treatment.
