Living permanently in Luxor since 2004, Pauline has built up a really good understanding with the locals due to her constantly caring ways and her ability to see a problem and solve it where everybody is happy. This is really making changes for the better as to how the working animals, children and puppies are treated.

Pauline really enjoys spending her time out with the animals and people in El Marise and Armant on the west bank of the Nile just to the south of Luxor, where there is always so much to do, and also enjoys meeting supporters in Luxor.

AWOL UK Managing Trustee, Jan has always been a keen horsewoman and though she seldom rides now she has a great love of animals and Luxor both ancient and modern and has studied Egyptology for 18 years. Her respected and demanding role in Animal Welfare of Luxor is something she is very passionate about having witnessed the hardship 1st hand.
