Pauline
Warren
Now into her 4th year of living permanently in Luxor Pauline has
built up such a good understanding with the locals due to her constantly
caring ways. Her ability to see the problem and solve it where
everybody is happy is really making changes to how the working
animals, children and puppies are treated.
Pauline so enjoys her time in Armant and El Marise,
as there is so much to do, and also enjoys meeting supporters in Luxor. |

Jan Bennell
AWOL UK Managing Trustee, Jan is a keen horsewoman with a
great love of animals and Luxor both ancient and modern. Her respected and demanding role in Animal
Welfare of Luxor is something she is very passionate about
having witnessed the hardship 1st hand.

Sabine Borkes
Having left her native Holland Sabine brings her love of animals
to Luxor. Sabine speaks four languages (Dutch, German, English and a little French) and is currently learning Arabic.
Like Pauline, Sabine has a quiet way that is really the only way to make a lasting difference to how the local people care and understand the needs of their animals.

Graham Warren
Very happily married to Pauline it is a joy to see the respect she has around Luxor and El Marise and extremely proud to be a member of the AWOL team.
My position is one of creating and maintaining the Animal Welfare Of Luxor web site, support material, accounts and ensuring that everybody does stop for a break as with so much to do it is all too easy to just keep going and put yourself last.
