A home visit by AWOL. This cow and the donkey in the picture below were treated by AWOL under the guidance of Dr Mustafa. Pauline treated this cow with an ulcerated udder for 4 days and now all is well. The owners are good people doing the best that they can within their limitations. |

This baby donkey hadn't stood for 5 days and was not eating at all. The owners just didn't know what to do. No electricity, telephone or access to a vet so AWOL with the help of Dr Mustafa gave it daily treatment and now it is up, eating well and out and about with its mother. A real success. |

Regrettably accidents will always happen and this donkey lost its footing and fell which looked terrible but once cleaned and treated by Dr Mustafa looked much better as seen here. Guidance on care was given and AWOL supporter, Tony, changed the string head collar for an AWOL one. Both donkey and owner were happy.

| Here Pauline fits an AWOL head collar and takes the chain away that was causing the damage to this donkey's nose. Just a few more stitches to make the head collar a good fit and donkey and owner were on their way. |

AWOL supporter, Alison, came out with us and Dr Mustafa for an AWOL Doggy Care Friday. Correct washing, cleaning and grooming is so important in the high temperatures that we experience here. Once Pauline was finished Alison showed the correct use of a flea comb. This was a quiet time as Dr Mustafa and others had gone to the mosque nearby. |

After visiting the AWOL land in El Marise, Jan Bennell, AWOL UK Managing Trustee and Sabine calm a donkey whilst Pauline deals with an injury to its hoof.
