| Seti I reigned between 1290 and 1279 bc and was the second pharaoh of the 19th dynasty. An extremely powerful pharaoh in his own right ruling both upper and lower Egypt but he is also the father of Ramses II. Seti established the Valley of the Queens and his mother was the first person to be buried there yet despite his importance his temple is another that is often missed by tourists.
