What is it like in Memphis today?

There is little left of Memphis and what there is has been brought into a mostly outdoor museum. The only building on the site has been specially made to hold a massive statue of Ramses II which you can see in the pictures below.

Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, is within easy reach of Cairo.
