Look back at last month's pictures and you will see this statue at the temple of Amenhotep III, face covered and with a frame around it but it is now complete and here you can see the face for the first time in several thousand years. Behind the statue some of the tombs of the nobels can clearly be seen in the Theban hills. |

Seldom visited by tourists the temple of Seti I, father of Ramses II, is a wonderful place to see and we found the time one morning to visit it with Simon and his daughter Pauline. |
|
|
Graham and Alison went to Medinet Habu, mortuary temple of Ramses III, and this is the view from the far end of the temple. A most wonderful temple and as you know we use any excuse to visit it yet they were still home in time to sew head collars for AWOL in the afternoon. |

We really enjoy our time out with the people of El Marise. It is always nice meeting up with old friends and making new ones. |

Pauline and Alison on the Nile heading to Fellahs Tent. |

Pauline was extremely brave holding a cobra on Alison's last evening as we celebrated an early birthday for Graham at a super evening at Fellahs Tent. |
